The Monaco range is the physical embodiment of the glamour and prestige associated with the coastal city and its iconic street race. The collection’s sense of history and nostalgia is further accentuated by its long association with Hollywood royalty, having received worldwide acclaim after appearing in the 1970's classic Le Mans, on Steve McQueen's wrist.
 
To mark the start of the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix, the brand modernized and released the new Dark Lord. Paying homage to the rare and mythical all-black Monaco originally launched in 1974, a watch way ahead of its time and TAG Heuers first ever DLC coated watch. It was never showcased in any TAG catalogues and is estimated that less than 200 pieces were ever produced. 
 
Measuring in at 39mm this new iteration has a Titanium case which is completely coated with DLC - pushers and crown included. The case also features an open sapphire case-back showcasing the stunning Calibre Heuer 02 movement with a striking 5N rose gold plated oscillating weight to match the hands and hour markers. To finish the look this piece has a stunning all black aligator strap with matching grade 2 titanium DLC coated deployant clasp. 
 
Our watch is a complete set with inner and outer boxes, travel case, manual, warranty booklet and new style warranty card. Being a March 2024 piece, this watch benefits from the full 5 years warranty.
