The Rolex Submariner is easily one of the most recognisable watches the brand has ever produced, launched in 1953 as a true tool watch for divers, it was also a military issue watch. Over time the Sub has been seen on the wrists of many famous people, and slowly became the stone cold icon that it is today. Rolex revamped and brought to market this latest model and in true Rolex fashion, managed to make some fundamental changes, moving to a 41mm case and new movement etc, but kept the true essence of the Submariner.
