With only 1,000 units made to celebrate the incredible talent of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team in the 36th Americas Cup.
 
This was released as an extension to the Luminor line and dedicated to measuring pin point performance with it's chronograph complication. This Luminor Chrono stands out from a typical chronograph with the placement of it's stop/start and reset pushers being on the left. This allows Panerai to preserve the iconic design of having the crown protecting bridge on the right of the case.
 
Within the 44mm steel brushed case sits the deep blue sandwich dial which is simply stunning, with red and whte details of the Luna Rossa text enriching the dial, this is enhanced with sporty graphics and a tachymeter scale on the rehaut. It is a truly stunning piece.
 
Running the automatic P.9200 calibre which is tried and tested it has a 42hr power reserve and is water resistant to 100m. In typical Panerai style it is complete with two hybrid straps combining a rubber structured and technical waterproof material on the surface for comfort and durability. The quick release system allows for easy strap changeover. To complete the sailing feel, the box is encased in sailcloth and signed by Panerai and Luna Rossa. 
 
This watch is a double digit low number piece of 1,000 pieces.
