Oris developed the Caliber 400 movement completely in-house  and was built from the ground up, the level of detail we could go into, but the listing narrative would be two pages long. Be assured this is a fantastic in-house calibre that boasts lots of technological advances, including a 120hr power reserve and Oris are so confident in how good these movements and build quailty are, they now offer an incredible 10 year warranty on the caliber 400. Although Oris have not done COSC certification, it does perform within those specs, in fact even more strict at -3/+5 seconds per day, the 10 year warranty also covers the accuracy.
 
As with all Aquis watches, the movement can be seen through the exhibition caseback and you can see some of the great detail in this new Caliber 400, but as we all know, Oris do some real knock out dials and Oris have really pushed the boat out with this new blue sunburst dial on the 400. The stunning gradient blue dial becoming almost black as it radiates out to the edges, this is now complimented with a blue ceramic bezel. The 43.5mm case is slightly slimmer than the standard Aquis date and carries the same 300 meer water resistance.
 
The Caliber 400 is finished with a stainless steel bracelet with Oris's newest patented development , their Quick Strap Change System, no tools are required.
 
Our watch is presented as a full set with outer and inner boxes, booklet, swing tag and warranty card. As stated, it carries the balance of the manufacturer's 2 years warranty which can be extended to 10 years by joining my Oris.
