Lifestyle Watches are pleased to offer to market this 1989 CWC G10, Naval issue, used by a Royal Navy Submariner. This a watch only, but a very nice example with the orignal black nato strap, plus an aftermarket black/grey nato.
The history of CWC is quite incredible and it's worth having a look on CWC's webpage and click on the history tab. Ray Mellor was quite the entrepreneuer, from his days in the Merchant Navy, with Hamilton watches and then creating Cabot Watch & Clock company.
This particular watch is a Military issue, not a re-issue and was made to M.O.D spec according to the period it was made in, in this case 1989. This came from a retired Submariner and the markings on the back confirm it was a Navy issue watch, the history is quite fascinating as to the journeys this must have taken.
